The K*I*S*S* Fitness Program for KIDS


 

Coming soon is a kids’ version of the K*I*S*S* Fitness Program.  The K*I*S*S* Fitness Program for KIDS (K*I*S*S* for KIDS) will be directed at children and youth in grades 5 through 12.  It will be a brief presentation of the basics of the K*I*S*S* Fitness Program in a form that is easily digestible by kids.  It will be produced as a 12 to 16 page pamphlet in 8-1/2” x 11” format that will be suitable for mass distribution by schools, scout groups, and others that have a mission which includes physical education of children and youth.  My hope is that every kid in the country will get a copy of the booklet and that it will stimulate an interest in fitness along with a realization that getting fit and staying fit isn’t really hard (It might even be fun!) and that both the short and long term rewards of fitness make the little bit of work involved well worth the effort.  The cost per booklet will be very cheap if it is purchased in large quantities.  The booklet can be used for school fitness programs that can progress over a number of years.  Since there are four Parts in the program, it is ideally suited for implementation in the 5th through 8th grade sequence or the 9th thru 12th grade sequence.  The simpler versions might be used in the elementary school grades and the standard versions used in the high school levels.  The program can be used as the basis for contests and other fun type school activities.  It can also be used as a general conditioning program for students involved in school athletic competition.  Please keep in touch for news concerning the availability of this new book.
